 The Silent Ballet Wiki
Guidelines

If you are going to add a page to the Silent Ballet Wiki, we ask that you follow a general format so that it has a uniform appearance.

Note: This wikipedia works as a html module, which means it does not read most standard wikipedia code. In fact, the only thing it will read is the double brackets ([ [ ] ] - without spaces) with signify an internal link.

Creating a Band Page:

When creating a band page, you must include 4 main sections: Biography, Band Members, Discography, and Links. Tour dates are optional, as the band may not be touring, but we encourage that you include them if available. You may write you own biography if you desire or borrow one from else where, but if the biography is borrowed, please cite it and provide a working link. You may also choose to make pages for the band's releases, at which point we ask that you provide a Title, Tracklist, Release Date, and Label. After a band page has been created, add it to the List of Bands page. If the band is touring, add it to the Bands on Tour page. If you have included information on an upcoming release, add it to the Upcoming Releases page.

Example: Mono

Creating a Label Page:

Similarly, a label page must contain a Biography, List of Bands, Release History, and Links. Please do not include tour dates on the label page, but you are more than welcome to link to bands on tour. After a page has been created, add it to the List of Labels page.

Creating a Venue Page:

A venue page should contain a Location, Biography, Age Limits, and indicate what types of music they support. Venues may opt to include a list of upcoming shows, but be warned that this is not an advertisment tool and venues that are found to be spamming the wiki will be deleted. After a page has been created, add it to the List of Venues page.
