Seattle-based? Check. Seven-piece? Check. Glockenspiel? Check. Alright I'm in. In for a real treat that is. Beast, Please Be Still are one of the many glorious instrumental bands that currently grace the Northwest's most musically-prosperous city. They've got a serious array of talent and rumors say they know how to use it. "Clouds Over Samurai Castles" is a preview of the capabilities and spirit of this band. It's both fun-loving and emotional at the same time, intertwining a perfect amount of each in order to make for a solid thirteen and a half minutes of audible goodness.

The production on the track isn’t perfect and there are definite areas that could be improved upon (it’s only a demo!), but don't let that stop you from peering into the future and having faith in what is soon to come. The group has already started recording their debut album, and I'm confident that with a good producer (which they have) and some fine-tuning, Beast, Please Be Still will be a sleeper hit this year.
