Better known for his involvement in Anoice and Mokyow, Takahiro Kido brings his pristine blend of ambient, classical, and electronic music to the Plop label with Fleursy Music.  Even though the ambition and optimism found on the album would indicate that this is Kido's debut solo endeavor, it is in fact his fifth release as a musician determined to craft music as beautiful as it is fragile and unassuming. Fleursy Music is perhaps destined to be one of the year's sleeper hits; many may initially overlook its brilliance, but I'd couldn't believe that anyone would deny its charm once exposed. An essential release for 2008.
